On a recent trip To Indy, I had the opportunity to visit the Indianapolis museum. Needless to say , I could have spent the whole day there.

The racing industry puts on a trade show for members (only), and I was overwjelmed at what industries support racing. If you want it, someone out there makes it. Of coarse, I loved all the race cars on display. Wish I could own a few!!

January in Las Vegas 2007. Had a trade show out there, and of coarse, I seached out where the car museums, etc. would be and went "looking". Had a blast. This is an open to the public museum, but alot of the cars are for sale

Album: SEMA Show Oct 2006
SEMA. The ULTIMATE car event. Oct 2006. All one can say, having attended, will certainly contest, Sema is the greatest car event in the world. Based around the "specialty equipment manufactures association (SEMA)" , SEMA is a mecca of cars, all knid of cars, Custom, Rods, Exotic, Trucks, etc. and every kind of accessories, parts , tires, wheels, fittings,etc. If it exist, it is at SEMA !!! Daily, over 100,000 people ascended on the Las Vegas Convention Center to try to take in the spectical. And if you have never been to the Convention Center in Las Vegas, it is larger than any 4 or 5 of the 33,000 room hotel (or small cities) PUT TOGETHER. We spent 3 full days: 9 to 5... and I mean 9 to 5 !!! And we did not see it all. Absolutely awesome!!! Had so much fun, I did not want to leave,,,and I was exhausted!! I am already looking forward to next year. And my Extreme Eleanor will certainly attend.

Album: Oct 1, 2006 Orlando Festival of Speed
The Ritz Carlton in Orlando is a wonderfull place and environment for a car show. The day was gorgeous, cars were everywhere, and the hospitality was fantastic. I di not show a car, but drove the Vanquish over and that was a blast! We stayed at the Rotz saturday night afetr enjoying most of Saturday at the resort. With a 3:00 Sunday checkout, we had all day to enjoy the show, the hotel, the restuarants and the people. A great way to spend a weekend!!

Album: 2006 Festival of Speed - A Collection of the Best
Feb, 24th did not start well Rainy and cold. i was scheduled to show both the Countach and the Boxer, but too much rain and wet streets. Had to leave them at home. But the show went on without me and it truned out to be a good show. All kinds of "rides" that represent SPEED. Wonderful way to spend a Sunday.

Album: July 1 2006 Daytona Pepsi 400
July 1 2006 we had the opportunity to go to Daytona and watch the Pepsi 400 Nextel Cup Series race.We went with some close friends and saw both the Winn Dixie 250 (Dale Earnhart Jr won) on Friday night, the the grand finale, the Pepsi 400 on Saturdya night. What a time!! What a race. Tony Stewart, once again, took the checkered flag as he did last year...2 in a row. Dominatiing performance. The Daytona speedway is awesome. Huge. A small city. If you ever go to a big race, go to spend the whole day within the speedway. There is so much to see and experience.It is awesome!!

Album: World Of Wheels - Chicago 1/06
Last weekend in January and we were off to Chicago for the World of Wheels Exhibit and show. This is where all the "custom" made cars come out and compete for the prestigious " Riddler" Award (Best Custom Mde car...Best of Show!) Chip Foose (from the hit show: "OverHaulin" ) has had 2 cars win 2 years in a row. This car, shown here, is his 2005 winner, "Impressions" . And I can honestly say, I have never seen a more beautiful automobile.

Celebration puts on a wonderful show to a good cause. Unfortunately, I could not attend with a car, but I did show up as a spectator. And I was glad I did. Another beautiful, picture perfect day. Crowd was huge, cars were better, and time spent was memoriable.

Album: Cavalino Classic West Palm Beach 2006
Again, The Cavalino Classic came around in late January and again We showed our 1981 Ferrari BB512 Boxer. This year she brought home Gold!! She also was asked to participate in the "Lecture" series where she was used as a fine example of the one of the last carburator Boxers produced in 1981. In Mid year of 1981, the carburator Boxer ceased and the fuel injected engine Boxer began. She was also highlighed in the Cavalino Magazine in a 2 page spread covering the story. A proud moment! Met some new friends and certainly experienced cars of the highest caliber and pedigre. Always a good time and and certainly a weekend that should be enjoyed by any car enthusist, regardless of your car preference. Fun time, exciting cars, a beautiful weekend within beautiful surroundings.

October 15th. A beautiful day in Florida! The "cars" were out and it was worth the trip!! Took the ride over in my 1981 Ferrari BB512 Boxer and the Boxer garnered its own bit of attention when we arrived. All kinds of cars came out and created a day of nostalgia and present day excitement.

Elegant Cars from Pebble Beach. A tremendous display of some of the worlds most exclusive automobiles in an environment that can only be equaled by the cars themselves. An event that has to be seen at least once in a lifetime...and if you have the chance, maybe twice! Pebble Beach...an event by which others are judged.

Another great show in Wnter Park ! Was not able to attend with a car to show due to work commitments but was able to go as a spectator. Florida is becoming a wonderful place for high end car shows.

With over a thousand cars on hand, and almost every one of them from Italian heritage, you have to be in awe! 678 Ferrari's alone !! An amazing event with spectacular cars and wonderful people. If you love exotic cars, this is a "must " event.

An incredible display of the worlds most unique and gorgeous automobiles. Set on the stunning east coast of Florida, Amelia Island, and the Amelia Island Concoarse DeElegance has become, over the last 10 years, the "Pebble Beach" of the East Coast ! Full of glamor, celebrities and some of the worlds most rare automotive art, it is a show to attend at least once in your life...and if you are lucky, maybe twice !

In November we made a trip to Italy and while there, we took 2 days to visit the Ferrari and Lamborghini factorys. We went to Rome, Florence, Verase, Venice, Sant Agata and Maranello. Here are some photos of our trip and of course, the Ferrari and Lamborghini factories.

Our first showing was spectacular ! Our 1981 BB 512 placed Silver in its first certified Ferrari judging.! Points were lost due to cosmetics and some non-factory parts...all easy to fix and bring her right up to Platnium Status !. Beautiful cars in a beautiful setting! Even Donald Trumps weeding couldn't upset this display! A wonderful weekend surrounded by wonderful machines.

Our first entry into an official and exotic car show. Our Lamborghini Countach won first place. What a great way to start. A wonderful time in the perfect setting graced by personable host and friendly car enthusiasts. Nice way to be introduced to car exhibitions.

Album: Pocono Pa./ Concorso Italiano 2004
Pocono, Penn. A wonderful show, beautiful surroundings on a perfect day, and of coarse, a field of some of the most beautiful Italian machinery ever designed. Our Lamborghini Diablo won First Place and we got to meet Valintino Balboni himself. ( He is, and has been, the official test car driver for Lamborghini...since 1965. A remarkable, kind and talented man. Quite a memorable trip. The next day we too he rup on the Pocono Nascar track and did 170 MPH and never got her out of 4 gear!!! We were not allowed the entire track so we had to make our top speed on the back straights. What a fabulous car, wonderful tme and exciting adventure!!
