  12-23-08 Well, the custom made 18" Dayton wire wheels came in today. What a huge difference they make over stock. A classic look with one of the best made wheels in America.  Look inside. we are beginning to assemble the dash and interior. By end of day, we should have the entire dash and console (with radio head unit) installed.  Stock wheel size was 15" . The wheel well was so large that the 15" looks too small, but I didn't want to go so big the wheels looked out of proportion with the car.  DSC06885.JPG  12-21-08 Gabe installed the 2 amps in the spare tire wheel well along with the crossovers. There is a cover with carpet that hides them all. It will look factory when done.  DSC06872.JPG  DSC06871.JPG  A lot of the leather was, and is, original but has dried out. So we bought all new leather (4 full hides) and have begun dyeing to match to cover all the panels needing leather...and that was almost the entire interior!!! The seats and door panels were new leather, so we matched color to those pieces.
