She is bad, she is beautiful. And fortunely, she's MINE !!

Eleanor finally gets "Legs." Suspension is put on and adjusted. Tieres and wheels bolted on and she finally hits the ground with her own "foot print".
She is on the ground and on her own. Tomorrow, we put in her "heart"...a custom built, one of a kind 427 F.E. Shelby racing motor. 1000 H.P. of power so she will move as good as she looks.

She even looks fabulous filthy dirty...but true beauty should !!!

Had to lift and support Eleanor with the fork lift to mount tires. We then took off the rotessoire and supports .

13 inch rotars and S.S.B.C. racing brakes and calipers. She will stop almost as fast as she excellerates.

Under the car we took out the "tie down" bars and replaced with square 3/8 steel to reinforce the front frame
We had to drop the Independent Suspension frame over an inch to accommodate dropping the engine down and moving it forward. Here you can see how we added the engine mount gussets for added strength.
A good shot of the front suspension bar and the major re-work done to help the oil pan and steering rack to clear.
A good shot looking up under the front nose of the car.
She's back from the paint booth.
